1971 - First extrusion produced on a 1000 ton Lombard 5-in. press.

1976 - Horizontal paint line introduced.

1980 - Thermal Fill and Debridge line added. Shipping area expanded to 8,000 sq. ft.

1983 - Added:
·      Press 1 building expanded by 15,000 sq. ft.
·      Press 1 converted from 5 to 6 inch billet diameter.

1985 - 108 employees.

1986 - 23,000 sq. ft. building with a new 25 foot state-of-the-art vertical paint line installed.

1987 - 27,500 sq. ft. Press 2 building added with 7 inch Watson Stillman 2200 ton press.

1988 - Packing Department expanded by 15,000 sq. ft. with four new shipping docks.

1991 - Thermal oxidizer to meet/exceed EPA Standards added to paint line.

1992 - Aquired Astro Shapes Education Facility for management and employee training.

1995 - Added:
·      New Sutton 8 inch 2200/2500 ton press
·      12 bay shipping dock
·      125,000 sq. ft. including a covered billet yard
·      Employee complex

1996 - 370 employees.

2000 - New Sutton 7 inch 2500 ton press

2001 - Installed a third paint booth to enable high performance architectual coatings, along with a 25,000 cfm. thermal oxidizer.

2003 - Installed a high speed turbo disk to our paintline in order to provide maximum coverage for complex shapes.

2005 - New integrated material handling and packaging system featuring automated pack line, Astro transporting racks, stretch wrap product protection and barcode inventory identification.

2006 - Status
·      Four presses
·      Ransburg 3 booth electrostatic 25 foot vertical paint line
·      Automated packaging system with returnable shipping racks
·      300,000 sq. ft. under roof (7 acres)
·      Thermal Fill and Debridge line
·      420 employees

2007-2008 - Product Enhancement Projects:
·      Age-Oven replacement
·      Cantalever rack system
·      Paint warehousing system
·      Radio fequency tag system for paint line order tracking
·      Protective tape machine
·      Paint conveyor modification
·      Ergonomic paint load table
·      Paint bake oven modification
·      9 inch circle size capability - near term future plan
·      Polyamide thermal break equipment scheduled for installation 4^th quarter
